You Scream, I scream, we all scream for ICECREAM!!!!

Well for the last two weeks I have been coating my finger nails in the sugary shades that Barry M have released for Spring 2010, and I need to let everyone know that I am really feeling the joys of spring! The sun has been shining for a while now and I have a slight tan which is complimented gorgeously by these sweet looking colours. From Left to right there is Mint Green (304), Pale Blue (306), Berry Icecream (308) and Pale Pink (309). These are the names and numbers on the bottom of each of the bottles, however when you check the website (www.barrym.com) the blue shade is called Blueberry Icecream and the pink shade is Strawberry Icecream. The Pale blue shade is by far the easiest to apply and you could easily get away with one coat. Although because the name is different on the bottle from the new release and the formula seems so different from the others I am a little concerned that I picked up an old bottle. Not that it matters too much! It is a pretty colour, very bright and not too pale. Also I have received a couple of really nice comments from complete strangers on it! The Pale Pink is my least favourite colour it is a very sickly pink and i just don't think it is completely me, but maybe it will grow on me. The Berry Icecream is a beautiful colour and loads of different brands are producing similar versions of the shade this season. It is a delicate pale purple colour with requires 2 coats to give a nice glossy coverage, I like this one a lot.
This is by far my favourite shade of the moment! It is zingy, bright and looks great with a tan. It is a similar formula to the berry and requires 2 coats to give a nice coverage. The finish is glossy and long lasting, meaning it stayed on my fingers until i got bored with it or had time to change, which is usually 1 week!!! I can see me applying this shade time and time again and never relegating it to the back of my nail polish drawer!

All polishes where purchased at Boots for apprx £2.50 each, and they all (mostly) get a firm nod of approval. What is not to love when a product is so cheap and so wonderfully cheerful!
