FIrst Impressions.....
Please excuse this crappy picture but I was just too excited about this product to keep it to myself! I had previously used the serum by Garnier but like everything I got a little bored with it, although it felt refreshing and uplifting it didn't seem to have any long term benefits.
This new product however is a different story, now I have only been trying it for a day and a half so I can't vouch for how long this is going to last me or whether it will dry out over time. For the last 3 months I have been testing concealers looking for something that was light, easy to blend and covered my dark circles without caking, forming lines or wearing off after 10mins. You see my problem is I rub my eyes either when I am stressed or sleepy which tends to budge most makeup from where it was carefully placed.
Which is why this product us so nice, it seemed to last up until lunch time when I could easily grab the little tube from my bag and touch up. Applying it was refreshing (most be the caffine!) especially for all those early mornings before work and it feels so light it is like I have no concealer on, which goes great with my new foundation routine.
I purchased this from boots for the princely sum of £10.20 in the colour fair, well worth it!!!

And life goes on.....
I have just spent the last week catching up on various peoples blog postings and youtube videos, I now realise how much I have missed in the last 4 months of being missing in action! There have been several MAC releases that have completely passed me by and loads of people seem to be using a collection 2000 mascara!!! Who would have predicted that! Anyway to help try and bring myself back into the world of the living I went to Boots yesterday and picked up the mascara, I've not tried it yet as I haven't applied makeup in weeks but it will be something nice to use when i go back to work in a couple of weeks.
Yeah I am still not back in work yet, been off since the second week in december after having been off ill for a number of periods prior to that. I am still not getting any better but my GP and consultant seem to be in agreement that I am presenting with a number of symptoms for something called Endometriosis. That is where the lining of your womb grows in lots of other places rather than in your womb causing unbearable pain, fatigue, leg pains, spots and well absolutely disgusting things that i shan't put any readers through! Anyway my real reason for going to Boots was to pick up a few things in preparation for me going into hospital on wednesday (scary!!!). I am in hospital for a Laparoscapy which should mean I am only in for one day where there cut a small hole in my stomach (by my bellybutton), inflate my abdomen with CO2 and then put a camera in to see what is going on in my tummy, if need be they cut another hole lower down like with a C-section this will allow them to remove any problem areas. So I bought some Bio Oil in Boots to help with the scarring that might be a result of the above. Anyway I shall let you know if it is required and if it works!
In 2011 I am going to start organising my life a little bit better, I have a wonderful boyfriend, flat and possibly job but if could all do with a little refinement.... save a little more money... progress my career further... get in shape..... and enjoy life!!!!

Good Things...
Is the make of the aptly named Miracle Mattifier Moisturiser that I have been using every day for a week now. It is part of a range of products that are free from parabens, sodium laureth sulphate, animal ingredients and mineral oils. It says made in the UK on the back so I would guess it is only available over here!

Recently I have been suffering from make up slipping off my face in the hot and humid weather we have had here in the UK. So I picked this product up in Boots, for £7.99. I liked the idea that it only contains good things and I hoped it wouldn't overly dry out my skin. It certainly hasn't done that yet but on cooler days I have felt that my skin is a little tight in the evenings. But I have noticed a definite reduction in shiny skin with no increase in skin sensitivity. I am not a big fan of the smell it is fruity and a bit strong but not overly offensive.
I think this is only a product for use in hot weather, but I shall be looking into more products from this brand. I am especially interested in the Dream Cream Night Cream with avocado, similar to Keihls eye cream!?! I do hope so!
